78 FLH Electra Glide Clean Up

Been building my 81 FLT and scared a deal on a 78 FLH. Complete with everything - drives but i dont consider it safe.... the plan i have is to be simple, make it safe and reliable, upgrade a few things to get on road. id like to enjoy riding it for now that way i dont have to rush my build

The bike has been rode and put away wet for many years, had small if any maintenance performed and was parked outside in the heat... the front head gaskets leak bad, and made the entire bike covered in oil... the left swing arm had backed out bottom, and a chip in the fairing.. sooo at this point im looking at inspect axle to axle, head gasket, wrap exhaust pipes, polish aluminum, fix rear brake, street glde 18"front wheel, matching brake calipers paint and go through wiring...

Just wanted to put this somewhere to keep track of my progress. thanks for reading guys

I could also do with some pictures. I just hope that one day when I am done with my Harley, I will care to store it in a nice place, so that someone else will not have such a hard time cleaning it. It will even be better to sell it if I can't manage storing it well.
