    New bike

Just bought my last bike probably. For my retirement. It's a trike actually. 2020 triglide in spruce. I will be picking her up later this week after the engine mods and chrome dodads has been applied. My last bike was a 81 shovel low rider. So this is going to prove very very different. I bought the trike because my wife is in a wheel chair so she needs a more stable platform when getting on or off. The picture is a stock photo but still stock same as mine was friday.

    Congrats brother. Good looking scoot!
    You are right, it's different!
I rode a buddy's and felt like I was gonna flip it every time I made a turn. If you need it to keep riding, what the heck, you're in the wind!
I put this together a few yrs back. I am considering a trike too. It's getting hard to ride this '02 Fatboy.

Finally got her home. Had to fly to AZ due father in law passing. Frederick HD was kind enough to keep it until I returned. Love it cannot wait to open her up. Handling is a challenge. A lot of arm strength needed, and no counter steering. I still want to put my foot down at the stop. Almost lost it on a hairpin by my house as my instincts and muscle memory were all wrong, but recovered by hitting the brakes. That's the other thing brakes are reversed on the trike. I'm used to using the front primarily and the rear was for hills when standing at a stop or added for emergency braking. But on the trike you have all the weight in the rear and twice the brake power. It appears it does most of the brake work. Hard to tell with linked brakes but it sure appears that way.
